“My favourite playlist still today is the 80’s R & B Love Songs. My husband, Shawn, and I chill out or cook with music on. So a fun fact is that it is my love for my mother, the 80s, and bold lipsticks/lipglosses is what inspired the design of my business logo with my name and the hot pink lips that you see everywhere.”
You’ll also discover how Adeena created strategic mindset and marketing systems that helped her to quickly create a profitable and successful 6-figures beauty business with 5 clients a day 2 days a week.
Co-host Elicia also shares her personal story of being a teenager with a chronic back condition lead her into massage at a young age where she worked with hundreds of clients locally many with complicated conditions. As she learned about the business side of things along the way, she seemed to make every mistake possible! But by working through those challenges she learnt a lot and grew herself and her business to create a successful massage clinic. Elicia now teaches massage therapists all over the world how to become fully booked without burnout.
“I love music too – I have a very eclectic taste – but many times you will hear me singing loudly to 90s pop music… My kids love it! (not really… but I don’t care!)”
*Note – Adeena and Elicia and do talk openly about their journey into and out of some mental health challenges through this podcast. This might be triggering for some listeners, and the way they have dealt with these challenges may not be the right for all listeners.
